Cavanagh leads strong Ranger showing at UPS Invite
DUPONT – Olympic College men's golf opened their spring season at the UPS Invitational at the Home Course over the weekend. The team was led by sophomore Colin Cavanagh (Wilson HS / Tacoma, WA) who shot a 7 over 2-round score of 151, placing him 17th overall. According to head coach Bjorn Bjorke, "This was Colin's best 36-hole score at the collegiate level. He struck the ball really well and made some great up-and-downs."
The team continues their strong showing at the end of fall season with the entire team shooting 4 rounds in the 70's on Sunday. See full results here.
The Rangers will be playing this next weekend at the Lewis-Clark State Invitational, hosted at the Clarkston Country Club in Clarkston, WA.
